FairSquare is co-organising, with PalFest and Sabeel-Kairos, an urgent, one-off conversation in London between the Reverend Munther Isaac and Zena Agha about the situation in Palestine today – with a particular focus on Bethlehem and the West Bank. The event promises to be a unique, in-depth talk and a rare chance to hear directly from the internationally respected Palestinian pastor.
Munther Isaac is a Palestinian Christian pastor and theologian. He pastors the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church in Bethlehem and the Lutheran Church in Beit Sahour. He is also the academic dean of Bethlehem Bible College, and is the director of the highly acclaimed and influential Christ at the Checkpoint conferences.
Zena Agha is a Palestinian-Iraqi writer, poet and multi-disciplinary artist from London. She is the author of Objects from April and May (Hajar Press, April 2022). Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Foreign Policy, The Nation, The Independent, Foreign Affairs, The Margins, NPR and El País.
